List of products by brand Cire Trudon

Founded in 1643, Cire Trudon is the oldest wax-producing factory worldwide. It was the provider of the royal court of Louis XIV, as well as most of the great churches of France.

Trudon had become the biggest wax-producing factory in the French Kingdom during the 17th and 18th century.

The story of Cire Trudon begins in 1643.

Claude Trudon acquires a shop on rue Saint Honoré and develops there a grocer and wax maker activity.

In 1719, the wax bleaching and candle manufacturing factory created by Michel Brice Péan de Saint Gilles became Manufacture Royale.

Trudon then experienced its boom in 1737, when the factory innovated and perfected the art of making beeswax candles. Subsequently, the company supplied the imperial court.

In 2007, the perfumed history of Trudon began, at the crossroads between craftsmanship and history.

Since 2017, the brand has experienced an olfactory evolution with the creation of five body fragrances.
